Abstract

The door stop comprises a deformable shoe (2) and an anchor stud (1). The shoe (2) is of a double tube (21, 22) form, and the stud (1) may be bonded (11) to the floor or other support surface. The outer tube (21) deforms laterally under door impact until contact is made with the inner tube (22). The shoe may have an inverted double walled cup form, and the inner walls forms a socket (24) which fits over the anchor stud (13). The stud (13) may be mounted co-axially on a circular base plate (10). The base plate (10) may include a circular rib (12) which forms a channel for the end of the inner tube (22).
