Abstract

The crash helmet is equipped with two lateral disposed earphones (2). These earphones are located in holes made in the wall of the crash helmet. Mounted at the rear of the helmet is a miniatureised receiver with its own supply source. An aerial (6) is fitted around the rim of the helmet (1). At the rear of the enclosure (19) housing the receiver is a disc (5) connected to a potentiometer, by means of which the sound volume can be regulated.
