Abstract

The roller support for furniture consists of a ball (2) mounted in a suitable housing (3) and held by a screwed retainer fixture (4). The ball assembly is fitted to the bottom of a leg or similar furniture part. The housing has a curvature to match that of the ball and has at its base an inwardly turning lip (5). The lip is made of flexible material to allow the ball (2) to be placed in position. The space between the ball (2) the housing (3) and the lip (5) is filled with ball bearings.
