Abstract

Domestic electric coffee roaster comprises a receptacle of which the bottom consists of a heating panel and in which is mounted an agitator for moving the green coffee grains from the different superimposed layers successively into contact with the panel. Pref. the heating panel is circular and incorporates >=1 electric heating element, and the agitator comprises >=1 arm which moves close to the panel with rotational movement coaxial with the panel. The agitator is pref. coupled to the shaft of an electric motor housed in a supporting base for the receptacle and provided with reduction gears for a reduced speed of 60-90 rpm.
