Abstract

Machine comprises circuit in which humid air can be circulated through the inner drum by a blower, passing over a condenser which is supplied with cooling air from the outside, and over a heating register for reheating the dry air. The cooling water can be conducted half-way up on both sides of the tub so as to form a film of water on the inner surface of the tub due to the circulating air being drawn downwards, and so as to condense the moisture out of the air. The heating register is arranged in one sector at the top of the tub, and comprises a radiant metal sheet directed towards the drum. The cooled air is re-blown into the drum through the loading opening by a suction-pressure fan and conducted towards the heating register. The circulating air can be conducted above the articles to be dried by the front wall of the tub and below the upper edge of the loading opening of the drum, and can be drawn into the evacuation zone of the tube.
