Abstract

Stacking equipment for bar or board shaped piece goods especially for profile bars includes at least two stacking units and a stacking unit for lifting the piece goods relatively movable towards each other. Each stacking unit is fitted with a movable carrying arm and with a transport equipment for the piece goods positioned on the carrying arm. The transport equipment consists of a cylinder mounted above the carrying arm. The carrying arm has a top open slot for accommodating bar shaped intermediate layers. In the slot is a projecting free end of a pawl mounted at the end of piston rod of the cylinder. The top surface and the base surface of the slot of the intermittently advancing carrying arm over which the top surface of the intermediate layers is projecting inclined towards the free end of the carrying arm at an angle to horizontal plane.
