Abstract

The industrial washing machine comprises a pan (1) fixed to a vertical arm (2). This forms part of a pneumatic cylinder (3), controlled by a circuit causing the pan to reciprocate rapidly up and down in a cleaning fluid. This is contained in a drum (5), fitted with a cover (6). The unit is fixed to the side of the drum when used. For transportation and storage, pan and arm are detached from the cylinder and control unit (4). All parts are packed inside the drum, being wedged in place. The cover has a removable portion which clears the vertical arm when the machine is used.
