Abstract

The scale holders (32) for the drawing scales (33, 34) are supported in a moving manner in a connecting plate (39). The scale holders (32) are arranged underneath the connecting plate (39), while a gearwheel (38) is arranged above the connecting plate (39). The gearwheel (38) can be rotated by means of a motor (28) and a worm drive (36) which is fitted on the motor shaft (35). In order to produce an angle signal, an impulse disc (37) is fitted on the motor shaft (35), which impulse disc (37) influences an angle pulse transmitter (1) such that counting pulses, which correspond to the angle, are emitted to an electronic circuit (40). In order to compensate for angle errors which are caused by mechanical transmission, a second (actual) angle pulse transmitter (31) is provided which detects the rotation angle of the gearwheel (38), that is to say of the shaft of the drawing head (A), and emits a pulse in a stepped manner, for example every 1 DEG . If the angle values of the two angle transmitters (1, 31) do not correspond, then the said circuit (40) operates the motor (28) until the values do correspond.
