Abstract

The trailer chassis is for caravans and has mountings for axles and the trailer body and is fitted with a drawbar. It is in two parts, the rear (1) having two lengthwise members (2,3) joined by cross-members (4) and the axle mountings. The front part (5) forms the drawbar at its forward end and has two lengthwise members (6,7) also joined by cross-members (8). The two parts are assembled together in a predetermined position in the lengthwise direction. The rear ends of the lengthwise members of the front part fit against the members of the rear for part of the length. The body mountings (8a,8b,14,15) are situated on both the front and rear sections.
