Abstract

The cleansing process is applicable to the automatic washing of dishes, and uses a dry cleaning agent. It is produced by introducing hot air to a foaming agent. The foam is passed through a dehydration unit before being introduced onto the soiled crockery. It is removed from the crockery by a current of air or a water spray. The foam constitutes a chlorinated alkaline alcohol solution, and the cleansing process includes two successive foam application and removal cycles. At the termination of the process the crockery is swept by air contg. chemical anti-microbians.
