Abstract

The securing rod is used to retain documents inside a file, whether the documents are perforated or not, the file having securing rings. On the back of the rod is a tongue which may be perforated or not. This rod may be made of plastics or metal, and can be used to form sub files. Its design reduces the risk of tearing of the documents at the point where they are secured. The rod retains the documents by its elasticity.
