Abstract

A sh eet of standard commercial-grade PVC is fitted to a stiffener of commercial-grade cellulose and polychlorophene, using synthetic expanded foam functioning partly as an adhesive, by heating on both faces. The foam is polyurethane- or polyethylene-based. Satisfactory rigidity and flexibility is obtd. which are necessary for articles such as briefcases, shopping and hand bag etc.
