Abstract
The system to augment the power output of a machine driven by a waterfall uses variable volume chambers which are housed in a rotary casing. The chambers are linked to radial arms extending to an inner shaft, and are hinged to radial arms extending between the rotary casing and the inner shaft. The chambers are also linked to slidable radial rods, the inner ends of these rods sliding along the arms on to which the chambers are linked. The outer ends of the slidable rods carry rollers which ride over a cam track provided around part of the rotary casing, the rods being sprung to extend when the rollers leave the cam track.
