Abstract
The water for the rice cultivation beds arrives down a main channel (1) and is divided into several distribution channels (2). These feed the rice growing beds (4, 5, 6, 7). Surplus water drains into a discharge channel (8), parallel to the distribution channels, running in main discharge channels (10). The feeder into each bed is a narrow tube (3) buried in the ground. This extends half the length of each bed, these being in rows. The remaining half is an earth embankment (12). Water crosses into similar discharge tubes (9), forming the other half of the opposite side of the beds.
