Abstract
Cooling comprises coils traversed by a cooling liq. and in contact with an intermediate heat conductor, either a liq. or a solid, itself in contact with the upper end. Overcomes the problem of the sharp temp. drop between the part of the reactor vessel immediately above the liq. metallic sodium forming the prim. coolant and the upper end of the vessel embedded in the concrete cover.
