Abstract

A flexible tube with a conductive inner lining is produced by forming a conductive coating on the outer surface of a mandrel. This is then inserted into a thermoplastic tube of which the dimensions have already been checked, and heat and pressure applied so that the conductive coating bonds to the inner surface of the tube, finally the mandrel is removed. The flexible tube is used in the aeronautics industry. The dimensions of the tube are accurate.
