Abstract

The method for varnishing printed circuit cards which have plug in contacts on one side consists of the following operation. The cards are arranged vertically with their contacts on the upper part are introduced into an empty vat. The vat is filled at a pre-established rate up to an upper predetermined level which corresponds to the foot of the contacts. The vat is then emptied to a lower level which is below the lower part of the cards. The cards are then withdrawn from the vat. The pre-established rate of vat filling is chosen to be less than a predetermined step so as to avoid creating bubble formation on the cards at the line of progressive application of the varnish.
