Abstract
The electromagnetic operating device, is used for the operation of door locks in motor vehicles. It has solenoids to operate various mechanisms. The device consists of two solenoids with ferromagnetic cores on each side of a ferrite permanent magnet. The magnetic flux from the cores is guided by a support member to a central ferromagnetic pole which is located between the two solenoids. This central pole allows the moving part of the device to pass.
