Abstract

Skin treatment cream is new comprising olive oil, a liquid silicone, an emulsifiable wax, an antiseptic, an antioxidant a sequestering agent, water, glycerol and optionally sorbitol. Used as cosmetic cream for treating dry or chapped skin. A typical skin cream contained 350 parts emulsifying wax BP, 1.2 parts prolyl gallate, 656 parts olive oil BP 161.25 pts. liquid silicone 200/50 BP, 905 parts glycerol BP, 6 parts methyl paraben, 3 parts propyl paraben, 3 pts butyl paraben, 1.2 parts ethylenediamine-tetracetic acid, 1.2 pts chlorhexidine diacetate, BPC, 7 parts perfume, 4355 parts water.
