Abstract

The boom comprises a main cross-bar (1) with forward projecting arms (3) for attaching to a tractor (2). This crossbar has brackets (5, 6) underneath which are used to hold several sets of agricultural tools. Two longitudinal rails (7) are fixed behind the crossbar. These are articulated (10, 17) to two more longitudinal rails (9) which are supported on wheels (12, 13, 14). A rear link (15) fits above the rear rails, forming a parallelogram each side. Each set of longitudinal rails is equipped with an hydraulic cylinder (18, 19), powered from the tractor. In the working position, the boom is level. When the tools are raised, the boom articulates about the parallelogram pivots.
