Abstract

A pre-treated vulcanised (un)satd. polyolefin rubber article is coated with a compsn. contg. (a) a polyol, is not 60 wt.% of which is a polycaprolactone polyol with mol. wt. 250-3500 (1000-3000), and (b) a polyisocyanate, pref. an aliphatic diisocyanate; the ratio of OH gps.: NCO gps. is 0.8-1.-35:1 (0.95-1.05:1). The coating layer has high elasticity, even at low temp., e.g.-40 degrees C high strength and high gloss, and is hard, scratch-proof and soil-resistant.
