Abstract

A dispensing valve for liquid soap has an internally threaded boss (2) for attachment to the soap container. It houses a piston (11) with a central hole (20) which connects with the outside by a hole (21). The base of the piston has a knob (19) which is spring loaded by the spring (16) against the housing. When the knob is pushed upwards the liquid soap flows behind the piston into the space (6). When the knob is released, the spring (16) returns the knob to its original position. The piston 13) moves downwards. The liquid trapped in the space (6) is forced through the discharge passages (20, 21).
