Abstract

The lavatory is moulded from plastic to form a tray with walls (12, 14) on the two opposite long sides. These leave an open-ended passage for a dog on a leash. The tray is situated on the pavement, its base inclined towards the gutter side, a band of gravel (18) is provided. The contents drain out through holes (22) and run off into the gutter (24). A disinfectant block (26) fits on one of the sidewalls (12), the remaining one (14), nearest the gutter, being hinged (32) for opening. This opening panel (28) can be used for publicity purposes.
