Abstract
The straight girders (10) are identical. Each pair is fixed together by means of two identical collars (16, 18) connected to the ends of a strutt (20). One end of the tubular strut (20) has a threaded pin (22), and the other end has a female thread (24). The collars are fixed onto the strut (20) by means of two caps (26, 28) one (26) of which is threaded and screws onto the threaded pin (22) with a truncated-cone-shaped centering ring in between. The other cap (28) has a conical head for centering the collar (18) and screws into the female thread on the strut (20). The two collars (16, 18) have two coaxial flanges with cylindrical side-rims. The outer flange (36) is separated from the inner flange (38) by a circular groove (37), the bottom of which is flat.
