Abstract

The equipment for producing air bubbles in baths incorporates a main bubble-generating unit placed in the bottom of the bath. This comprises an envelope with a top plate of finely porous material with the pores very close together. The envelope (1) is connected (6) to a compressed air source. The pore diameter can be between 0.013 and 0.484 mm. The plate can be made of porcelain produced by fragmentation of grains of aluminium oxide and subsequent vitrification at high temperature using a binder. The bubble bath is used for skin massage and stimulation of circulation.
