Abstract

The synthetic resin junction box, for supply cables, telecommunication cables etc. is located in a wall or partition and is variable in length. The box is placed between the two walls or shutterings and the space between is filled with a liquid filler. The length of the box can be adjusted to suit the gap between the walls. The ends of the box (23) press outwards against the insides of the walls or shutterings (21) and hold the box in position during filling. The adjustment in length is achieved using a variable-length tube (45).
