Abstract

The sealing device is for a meter illumination system, and has recesses in the instrument case with lamps mounted in the recesses. The lamps are mounted on a conducting element inserted into the case and connected to the supply voltage source terminal. The connecting wire (20) runs in a channel (17, 18) formed by a recess in the case (1) outer wall (19). The wire (20) is connected to the inner supply circuit (wire 22) by an insulated conductor (21) passing through the case wall (19). The channel (17, 18) for the connecting wire (20) is filled with insulating material after the conducting element is inserted into the case.
