Abstract

The cycle handlebars have a cross-member joined by two arched sections to two handles. Near the latter (3) two cylindrical sockets are formed, into which hand brake controls (11) are inserted in the axial direction, and locked so that they cannot turn. The handlebars can be made entirely of plastic, the cross-member being tubular and the arched portions of profiled section, while the handles are also tubular. Each arched section can have formed in it a housing for a removable fitting with an external reflecting surface.
