Abstract

The rope winch is connected to a farm or other tractor by plug-in type unions, and has clutch and brake actuated by pressure, pref. by hydraulic fluid. the entire hydraulic circuit (21, 22, 23, 25) together with the control unit (24) is mounted permanently on the winch unit (14) itself. The unit can be mounted on lughs (12) extending upwards from a horizontal supporting tube which fits on the bottom arms (7) of the tractor three-point linkage. At each end of the tube and roughly in line with the tractor wheels (3) are supporting feet (26), movable from the lowermost position in which they engage with the ground to an intermediate one to allow the winch to be set down, and also into an upper one.
