Abstract

The lighting strip is particularly for installation in the rooms of hotels or clinics, and has a strip (7) mounted on one or more supports (1). Each support has a first small plate (10) parallel to the strip, and a mounting plate (13) at right angles to it. A cut-out (17) in the latter receives light fittings. The mounting plate can have, on either side of the cut-out, mounting feet (14, 15) bent at right angles to it. There can also be a lug (16) bent a right angles to the mounting plate at the base of the cut-out for securing a continuous channel section (3), below which the light fittings are fixed.
