Abstract

A system for bonding, anchoring or supporting artificial parts on bones, which are implanted in the bones, especially in orthopaedic or orthodontic operations, comprises using curved, acicular fastening elements which are introduced into previously suitably formed canals and on whose parts that protrude from a bone or gum, the fastening elements are fixed. A special instrument for making the curved canal into which the fastening element will fit, is also daimed. The fastening elements, once introduced into the curved canal, will withstand both tensile and compressive forces since their curved shape prevents any movement or loosening.
