Abstract

An electric lever switch for a road vehicle is small and can be easily fitted an connected. It has a thermoplastic material frame and two bosses (2, 3). One of the bosses (2) constitutes a spindle for the switch lever (4) and the other boss (3) is used as position locations for the lever (4). The frame also has recesses to take connecting strips and fixed switch contacts. The switch lever (4) has a recess to take a ball and spring (22, 23) for locking the lever in position locations of the frame. The lever (4) also has a moving contact. The lever has a rotating movement as well as a rocking movement. The rocking movement is given by the sloping sides (20, 21) of the lever.
