Abstract
An electonic filter takes a single input and after filtering it provides outputs of different frequency ranges. The design is particularly directed towards systems where the signal is eventually reassembled as in the case of sound reproduction where several loudspeakers having differing responses may be required. The filter has a transfer function h deg. (r)=F(p)/Q(p) where F(p) and Q(p) are polynomials such that Q(p)=pn(A)+F(p). A(p) and F(p) are polynomials of the same degree. Each output line carries bursts of signal proportional to the input amplitude, and the signal free interval includes a fixed amplitude marker signal having a sense inverse to that of the information bursts.
