Abstract

The teaching machine comprises a desk-like unit made from anodised aluminium, or similar, with a short horizontal top surface with a switch (18) for connecting the internal circuit elements with a signal generator and signal output bushes (20) for logical "0" and "1" signals and also a light-emitting diode (22). The sloping panel has positions for a variety of electronic components which may be attached to the underside of the panel which is attached by two clamping screws (13). Circuit connections may be made by extra switch units (30, 32, 34) so that circuit components may be "integrated" at will to check the effect on the signal output. A paper may be placed over to enable the student to trace a copy of the experimental circuit arrangement.
