Abstract

The rotary brush (8) is fixed so that it sweeps the manure covered area of the shed, and moves along the line of stalls by means of a conveyor device. The rotary brush (8) is preferably flat and turns on a vertical axis or on an axis slightly sloping to the vertical. The brush (8) extends over the manure gutter (5) running outside the line of stalls. The tips of the brush (8) touch the side wall (10) of the manure gutter (5) on the side opposite the manure area (2) of the stalls. The brush (5) is joined to a scraper (11) above the brush (8).
