Abstract

The roller shutter comprises a number of metal or plastic slats (1). The sides of each are curved and the ends folded inwards to form a hollow section with an axial gap Clips (2) slide in this gap, to be positioned along each slat. Each clip has an arm (7, 8) each side and a central raised portion. The arms lock under the folded ends of the slats, while the central portion acts as a guide for a flexible metal band (3) passing through. This band joins all the slats together to form a complete unit, fitting in grooves or slides in the piece of furniture.
