Abstract

A temporary or permanent closure system for an enveloped used when the contents are to be re-directed after examination or as in the case of films, after processing, has three sections. Two of the sections are coated one with an adhesive, the other with a suitable surface for receiving the adhesive such that when the two surfaces are brought together they may be parted again without damage to either surface. The third section is such that when the adhesive surface is applied to it the seal is permanent and has to be broken by tearing the envelope.
