Abstract

Compsns. for the treatment of fascioliasis in animals, esp. cattle, sheep and goats contain carbon tetrachloride and N,N'-diphenyl-p-phenylene diamine (I) in soln. in dimethyl formamide (DMF). Compsns. are less toxic and more effective than CCl4 alone. The compsns. pref. contain 65-85% by wt. CCl4, 3-16% by wt. of (I) and the rest DMF, the wt. ratio DMF: (I) being >=0.5.
