Abstract

The frame has been designed to simplify and facilitate the renewal of the wax sheets in beehive frames. It is light, strong and rot-proof, and is designed to be used with modern methods of honey extraction. The frame can be made in wood plastic material, and it is split on three sides so as to enable the wax sheet to be inserted. The wax sheet (3) is held in place by pinching the two halves of the frame (1) together by means of a clip (4) which is placed on the top of the frame and which has two downturned edges which hold the two halves together.
