Abstract

An orchid display cabinet has at least one fluorescent strip light in the top, and a main connecting device for it for using the heat developed in the bottom part of the case, below the water level. The main connecting device has adjustable openings for regulating the heat dissipation or irradiation. The housing for the main connecting device has two annular walls which can be moved in relation to one another. The case is cylindrical and has two semi-cylindrical troughs in the part above the plant container overlapping each other, one of which moves around the axis of the case. A translucent cover plate is positioned above the fluorescent strip light.
