Injection moulding machine has an injection unit (2) in line with a conventional mould unit comprising a stationary platen (1) and a mobile platen (8) moving along tie bars (5), but also featuring a floating platen (12) having horizontal passages and rollers (31) for accepting a sliding tool (44) which can be preloaded with inserts alongside the basic machine.
