Abstract

The sanitary cubicle for installation in existing building has a floor (4) and walls (6) which are built up from prefabricated sections and contains a w.c. pan, a hand basin and a shower. The floor is rectangular and the walls are jointed in six sections. All component panels are internally lined with a rectangular moulded laminate (4a, 6a) with 90 deg. rebated edges (4d) and a quarter circle transition curve (4e) in the angles. Pref. the maximum size of prefabricated sections permits manipulation through normal door openings. fittings e.g. door handles, shower support and wash basin surround are also of rectangular moulded laminates with edge details similar to main sections. The laminate is a glass fibre reinforced polyester. The bottom edges of wall panels (6c) overlap. Each panel has a core slab (4b) with laminate (4a, 4c) on both sides.
