Abstract

The machine consists of a vertical framework which supports a feed chute. The slope of the chute is adjustable so that objects of various weights may be accommodated. The chute delivers objects onto a tray fitted with a kerb. The tray is able to move across the machine and the kerb may be tripped to allow the objects on the tray to fall through a slot into the packaging box situated under the tray. The box is supported on beams, and probes control the level of the objects in the box and connected to a handle. The machine requires no outside power.
