Abstract

A wedge for securing a load on a vehicle floor or for use as a chock has two flanges which are operated separately. These circular flanges engage the wedge body and the ground. The wedges have teeth which engage in channels or perforations in the floor. They can be stagered to ensure certain wedging despite different diameter vehicle wheels and varying wheel positions. The flanges can also have stops to make wedging action even more certain.
