Abstract

A firing aid device for use with ceramic plates, partic. ceramic plates of large dimensions, which are fed through a tunnel over, has a series of triangular or gable form supports forming plane surfaces against which the large ceramic plates can be rested during the firing process. The support surface components are constructed as triangular or trapezoidal plates (11, 14) with large recessed sections. The individual plates (11, 14) are arrayed in a row and joined together by cross pieces to form a single strong structure.
