Abstract
The resistance heating elements (2) in an electric radiator, is inserted in a hollow metal tube (1) to which a vane (8), for radiating the heat output of the heating element (2) is attached. This vane (8) is in the form of two identical elements (9, 10), each of which has a planar zone (11, 17) and a curved zone (12, 20) for locating around the tube (1). The planar zone (11, 17) of each element (9, 10) has a number of secondary vanes (13, 18), which are bent outwards so as to be perpendicular to the axis of the tube (1). The curved zone (12, 20) of each element (9, 10) has a planar edge (16, 21), the curved zones positioned around opposite sides of the tube (1) and the planar edges (16, 21) fixed to the planar zone (11, 17) of the opposite element (9, 10).
