Abstract

A machine automatically tests electronic components conveyed by a band. Each of the components has two in line connection wires each connected to a border forming one of the edges of the band. The components are arranged sensibly parallel and equidistant from each other. The machine has means of continuous driving and winding the band onto a spool. It also has band centring and guiding means as well as means for simultaneously putting the connection wires into electrical contact with a measuring bridge. The machine has means for stopping the drive when a component is shown to be defective by the measurement and means for cutting the connection wires of the defective component and ejecting it. The machine drive is automatically started after ejection of the faulty component.
