Abstract

The filling method is for products made from a soft material already shaped and prepared for packaging in cans. The product is simultaneously guided and centred during the filling process whilst any deformation of either the product or the tins is compensated. The insertion of the product into the tin takes place during an upward movement from below, so that the product rests flat on a movable inserting element during the whole filling operation. The cover is similarly placed on to the tin. The inserting device is made up of at least two sectional parts which are movable in relation to each other.
