Abstract

The arrangement conveys relatively large flow quantities of pressurised fluid through stationary parts to rotary parts or vice versa with low non-return valve resistance. The pressurised fluid is entering the stationary glide ring (4) through connection (6). The rotating shaft (1) is rigidly fitted with sealing ring (2), which is in gliding contact with ring (4). On the inner circumference of the sealing ring a number of radial channels (15) are provided, which all lead to a distribution cavity (16) and from there to the centre line channel (18) of the shaft. Whenever the discharge opening of supply channel (6) faces port (13) on the sealing ring, the corresponding non-return valve opens and passes the fluid through orifice (14) of the valve disc to channel (15).
