Abstract

The display package suitable for glace's fruits or any other confectionery has a cup (1) which consists of a plastic, hollow sphere which is cut away to form four or more fingers which will grip a fruit. The cup extends downwards into a straight hollow stem (3). This stem fits into a conical foot (2) which holds the cup. The foot opens out into a broad diameter to give the package adequate stability. For transport or storage the foot is inverted and the cup stem is inserted to form a compact package. The cup and foot are fitted together by a force fit, by screwing, by a bayonet fitting etc.
